In summer, the natural bathing pond of Issing is perfect for swimming and right next to it, there is the wonderful high-rope course Kronaction. In winter and when there are cold temperatures, the lake becomes a beautiful ice-skating rink.

In winter, there is a ski run with conveyor belt for kids as well as a short toboggan and snowtubing run. A bit above Pfalzen, there are two toboggan runs with longer descents. Horse lovers will look forward to the riding stables in Pfalzen and in the nearby village of Terenten; adrenaline junkies can try a tandem paragliding flight.
