Situated among Bruneck, Olang and St. Vigil, Kronplatz satisfies any wish for unforgettable winter holidays. Snow guarantee, wide ski runs with any degree of difficulty and a perfect infrastructure are a matter of course. As well, the ski mountain offers a sunny summit plateau. Above 2,000 m, guests will look forward to Messner Mountain Museum Corones as well as to an incomparable 360-degree panorama, ranging from the peaks of the Dolomites – UNESCO World Natural Heritage – to the high peaks of the main Alpine ridge in the north.
Cars are unnecessary
For comfortable skiing holidays, Kronplatz is directly connected to the railway network. In fact, Ski Pustertal Express brings you from the surrounding train stations to Ried valley station, which is directly located at the train station in Percha. Moreover, Kronplatz is also connected to the skiing area of Drei Zinnen Dolomites via the train station in Vierschach, at the Helm valley station.
Kronplatz is not only part of the enormous ski carousel Dolomiti Superski. In fact, it is also linked to the famous Sellaronda – a ski circuit in the heart of the Dolomites – via Piculin ski run.
Challenges for professionals
For experienced skiers loving challenging descents, Mt. Kronplatz offers its popular black five ski runs: Sylvester, Hernegg, Pre da Peres, Erta and Piculin. Who does these black five in one day will look forward to an exclusive surprise. As well, Erta slope at Mt. Kronplatz is the location for the FIS women giant slalom, a very important event for the world’s ski racing elite.
Multifaceted winter holidays
Be beginners or advanced skiers – all snowboarders and freestylers will love the varied snow park on Belvedere slope with many lines. Professional ski schools provide optimal child assistance and ski lessons for all levels of difficulty for the whole family.
