Ski holidays on Seiser Alm
In summer, the largest high-alpine pasture in Europe attracts many hikers and alpinists. As well, the renowned mountain region Seiser Alm has a number of attractive offers and events in winter.
A huge network of modern ski lifts, more than 70 km of perfectly prepared ski runs in the heart of the breath-taking landscape of the Dolomites and 100 % of guaranteed snow are the best conditions for an exciting and relaxing winter holidays for the whole family. The skiing area on Seiser Alm pasture is connected to the skiing area in Gröden, guaranteeing an attractive activity offer to all winter sports lovers.
Both skiing areas are part of the large ski carousel Dolomiti Superski. In total, they offer 181 kilometres of slopes, 79 modern and fast ski lifts and cableways with child safety lock, more than 50 restaurants and ski huts, more than 30 km of tobogganing runs, more than 133 km of cross-country ski runs and countless paths for snowshoe hikes or romantic rides with horse sledges.
Seiser Alm pasture has a surface of 56 square kilometres and is surrounded by some popular peaks, such as Langkofel and Plattkofel, Goldknopf, Puflatsch and Schlern. In fact, the sunny plateau in the middle of the Dolomites is the largest high-alpine plateau of the entire Alpine range and offers more than 300 sunny days per year.
Snow park & limitless family ski fun
The majorly soft snowfields between bizarre rock formations are ideal for cross-country skiing and winter hiking. As well, you can find ice-skating rinks, horse sledge rides and paragliding excursions.
Families will love the skiing region Seiser Alm. Several fun parks for kids, top ski schools and the adorable witch Nix offer fun for small winter sports lovers. In the meanwhile, adults can access the famous Sellaronda directly from Seiser Alm.
Skiers and snowboarders have fun on broad, well-prepared slopes. Freestylers are offered the biggest snow park in South Tyrol. In fact, the snow park has repeatedly been awarded as the best snow park in Italy and is the official training venue of the Italian freestyle national team.
