If you love rapid descents, you will enjoy adrenaline rushes with the Alpin Bob toboggan run, which open all year. As well, the local snow park offers several kicks, rails, tubes and boxes for snowboarders and freestylers, on Oswald slope near Waidmann hut. For those who still look for more challenges, there are many other slopes of the other skiing areas taking part of Ortler Skiarena ski association.
The Outdoor Kids Camp is the perfect place for children. Near the top station, kids have fun in the snow or in the playhouse, while their parents can still observe them enjoying the warm sun rays on the panoramic terrace. The collaborators the Mini Ski Club and ski kindergarten offer professional child assistance.

In addition to the ski runs, Meran 2000 skiing area offers snowshoe hiking, ski mountaineering and cross-country skiing. Especially, the sunny high plateau can be discovered on Haflinger horses living in the homonymous locality Hafling.
A special highlight in winter are the evenings reserved for night skiing, night tobogganing on the three kilometres long toboggan run or night skijoring. Alternatively, you can finish off the day in the centre of Meran – relaxing in the popular thermal baths, strolling throughout the picturesque city centre or enjoying culinary specialities in one of the local restaurants.
