Skiing region Pfelders

Pfelders skiing area offers slopes which are ideal for families and located only a few minutes from the hotels. As well, Pfelders guarantees good snow conditions during the entire season.

Ski fans will look forward to two draglifts for beginners, a modern cableway with seat heating system as well as a chairlift with transparent cover and heated seats, which brings you to 2,502 m above sea level. A snow production system guarantees constant fun on the slopes.

On Thursdays, there is the possibility of floodlit night skiing at Gampen lift. On Wednesday evenings, some slopes will be open longer for ski tourers. At your disposal is also a ski and snowboard school with qualified instructors. The motto of the skiing region Pfelders is “convenient and ideal for families”, as children under the age of 8 have free access to the ski lifts.

The slopes in Pfelders are also popular training locations among professional skiers. South Tyrolean ski star Werner Heel was on skis here for the first time and he comes back training on them still today.

No cars, no stress, pure nature

For a few years, Pfelders has been a village with gentle mobility. Thanks to an innovative mobility concept, inhabitants and guest can experience the natural landscape without stress. The village centre can only be reached by car for residents and hotel guests in Pfelders.

Other visitors can park their car outside the village centre and reach the skiing area by the village express as well as by two city busses.

Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice climbing & more

In the environs of Pfelders skiing area, winter sports lovers are offered all kind of activities. Two cross-country ski runs, two tobogganing runs, an ice-climbing tower and an ice-skating rink wait to be discovered. As well, you will look forward to magical snowshoe hikes, horse-drawn sleigh rides and horseback trips in the snow.
