Active holidays at Mt. Kronplatz

In summer and winter our hotel Blitzburg is the best starting point for many activities in the beautiful nature like hiking, mountain bike tours or playing golf and much more. In winter, the skiing area Kronplatz is easily reachable by ski bus. We can prepare your ski passes for you in our hotel.

Good evening. As I do every year, I spent my vacation at your resort. I’d like to compliment you on the service, cleanliness, and hospitality—especially the restaurant, which I believe has the best chef in Brunico, without a doubt. I’ve tried all the other restaurants in the area. Kudos to the chef for the exquisite and delicious dishes. I highly recommend that everyone stay with you.

The strength of being a close-knit family team translates into efficiency, courtesy, and cleanliness, along with a constant effort to ensure our guests feel comfortable—both in their accommodations and with our cuisine. The staff is always helpful and smiling. For us, Brunico means the Hotel Blitzburg and the Baumgartner family!

Everything Above all, the kindness shown to us—even through the little notes with little hearts left on the table at dinner as a welcome gesture, full of warmth. But a special thank you goes to you for the packed breakfast we requested....It was very much appreciated, and kudos both for your attention to detail and for being on time as agreed with our departure schedule. The staff is definitely the highlight of the Hotel Blitzburg: they’re always extremely helpful and welcoming, attentive, and smiling. The hotel is spotlessly clean and equipped with every comfort, and its location is ideal—just a 5-minute walk from the historic center and convenient for getting around by car. It’s truly a pleasure to stay there. The restaurant is exceptional: the food is excellent, with top-quality ingredients, traditional dishes, generous portions, and impeccable service. Everything is wonderful!
