Located in the heart of Trudner Horn Nature Park, Truden and the districts Mühlen, Kaltenbrunn and San Lugano offer ideal conditions for a relaxing winter or summer holiday in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in South Tyrol.

Summer & winter in the nature park

Bright sunshine, fresh air and the magnificent landscape of Trudner Horn Nature Park invite to spend a lot of time outdoors. Lush Alpine meadows, dense forests and the nearby mountains are a varied terrain for all kinds of family excursions.

On the way, you can make a stop in many cosy inns and mountain huts and taste many culinary specialities. Not only on the menus, but everywhere in and around Truden the proximity to the Italian language boundary is apparent – it is an interesting mix of southern and alpine elements.

In winter, the nature park becomes a paradise for snowshoe hikers. Skiers should visit the ski areas of Jochgrimm as well as the slopes in the nearby Fleimstal Valley.
