Rotbachspitz

From Gasthof Stein, follow trail no. 3 first through meadows and later through the forest over the Steiner Bach stream to the road. Follow the path, which repeatedly meets the road, to the Pfitscher-Joch-Haus and the slightly lower lake. Then descend briefly to the Pfitscher Joch (2,248 m) (national border) with a view of the Stampflkee glacier. Then turn right onto path 4 along the border to the Rotbachspitz (2,888 m).
Return as on the outward route.
