Hiking tour Lake Radlsee
The "legendary" local lake of the cathedral city of Brixen
An easy and stylish escape from city life: The easy hike to the Radlsee lake is popular with locals and tourists alike.
Starting point of the tour
Perlungerhof farm near Tils on the Pfeffersberg (1,380 m) above Brixen
Destination point of the tour
Lake Radlsee (2,255 m)
Wild stories surround the Radlsee lake. Is it really connected underground to Lake Durnholz and the Mediterranean? Is it really a lake that devours wheels and gives birth to goats?
Whatever the case, we start our hike in a matter-of-fact and sober manner at the Perlungerhof. Trail no. 8 takes us through lush coniferous forests to the Radlsee lake in around two and a half hours without any problems or danger. Right next to it, the "Radlseehaus" snack station serves Eisacktal Valley specialities in the summer months. If you want to hike further, you can climb the nearby Königangerspitze in just under 30 minutes.
