Conquer the landmark of Corvara! The rock pyramid of the Sassongher should only be tackled by very experienced and sure-footed hikers.

Route description
We conserve our energy reserves and first take the Col Pradat cable car up to over 2,000 metres. Not far from the mountain station, in a northerly direction, is the start of hiking trail no. 4. We walk to the junction with hiking trail no. 7 and follow this up to the Sassongher-Scharte pass. We now leave the numbered trails and follow the marked path southwards, which leads over steep steps and along fixed metal ropes to the summit of the Sassongher (2,625 m).
All those who reach the summit are rewarded with a breathtaking panorama of the Sella Group, the Geisler peaks and the valley basin of Corvara.
