The terrace of Trauttmansdorff Castle, the famous location, where the Empress Sissi herself made extensive walks, admiring the wonderful castle gardens, becomes the setting of a sumptuous brunch every Sunday in June and the first Sunday of July.

Imagine the spectacle of the flowering Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, the countless colours and scents of the blossoms and the warming summer sun. On the Sissi Terrace, where the famous Empress of Austria sauntered a long time ago, you can enjoy an excellent breakfast. In the middle of the elegant and impressive gardens, with exquisite dishes and a fine musical programme you will have a good start into the day. 

A sumptuous Sunday brunch

The special breakfast with exquisite specialities, fine music and an impressive panoramic view will take place every Sunday in June and the first Sunday of July. From 9:00 to 12:00, the Restaurant Schlossgarten receives the visitors of the gardens and indulges them with a rich buffet of sweet and savoury dishes, accompanied by finest musical entertainment and a magnificent view over the city of Meran.

The “Breakfast at Sissi’s” is a unique and refined occasion to have a good start into the day and is a nice present in the meantime. Give a special gift certificate and surprise your better half or someone who is very close to your heart!

The event takes place on June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and on July 1st from 9:00 to 12:00. In case of bad weather, the event is cancelled. Reservation is recommended: Restaruant Schlossgarten (+39 0473 232 350); the participation fee will be 20€ plus entrance to the gardens.
