Once a week in late summer and in autumn, there are guide hiking tours in Marling – an experience not to be missed by wine lovers and connoisseurs!
Once a week, each Thursday from, the guests in Marling and surroundings will have the possibility to make interesting excursions on the traces of the traditional winegrowing culture in South Tyrol.
The hikes on the WineCulturePath are guided by Heidi Tappeiner, a passionate lover of nature and natural landscapes. The hikes will begin at 9:30 am in the village centre of Marling. Along the path, you can see life-size representations, information panels, traditional wine farms as well as a fantastic view of the vineyards of Meran and environs.
The guided hike will last about 1.5 hours. Afterwards, all participants are offered a traditional South Tyrolean snack in a winery or wine cellar. Together with the winegrower or cellar master, you will have the possibility to taste the homemade wines. At 12:30 am, the participants will head back to the village centre.
An inscription until Wednesday (5 pm), in fact until the previous day, has to be made in the tourist office of Marling. Contribution fee: 12 € with GuestCard.
