Morteralm

The hike begins in the district of Burgaun in the outer Martell Valley. Here, forest trail no. 14 branches off, leading slightly uphill eastwards into Brandnertal. Here the trail continues along hairpin bends to the alpine meadows and huts.
Here you can recover from the ascent and admire the Ötztal Alps. Return on the same path or on path no. 13, which is slightly longer.
