From Antholz-Niedertal (1,124 m) on the road bridge over the Talbach stream and left on a narrow road to the Rauterhöfe farms. From here, follow trail no. 31/36 on a wide forest path up to the fork. Then left on path 36 to the Niedertaler Ochsenalm (2,150 m). Continue on trail no. 36 across alpine pastures to Ampertörl (2,413 m, crossing to Casies).

Follow the markings to the right, steep but not difficult, up to the summit (2,687 m).

Return as on the outward route.
