Hiking tour Jenesier Jöchl

A hike on Bozen's sunny plateau with plenty of views for those who are fit enough to walk.

From the car park near the sports centre, start on trail 1 or E5 past the Hotel Edelweiß over the Salten to the Langfenn (inn). Then follow trail no. 17A or 15 past the Fahrer Weiher to the Möltner Kaser shelter (1,760 m) and continue on trail no. E5 to the Jenesier Jöchl (1,664 m).

Return: Descend again on trail 28 or later 28B, then cross the Afinger Bach stream on trail 28A. Take trail no. 32 to the road and from here either take the bus back down to the starting point at Hotel Edelweiß or, for those who are particularly keen on walking, take the road down to the hotel.

From Bozen in the direction of Sarntal, on the exit road up to the left, follow the signs for Jenesien, or take the Runkelsteinerstraße cable car up to the village of Jenesien.
