The leisure facilities in Villanders and environs are nearly unlimited: You can go hiking, go biking or see the sights of the town. The mine and the archeoParc are also very interesting and absolutely worth seeing. So, too, are the numerous churches.

In autumn, Villanders is a popular place to celebrate the traditional harvest evenings, called "Törggelen". Typical South Tyrolean dishes are served and afterwards you can go for a walk through the coloured woods.
