Culinary Spring Weeks

In the south of South Tyrol, spring is welcomed in a really tasty way: with fresh spring dishes and mildly fruity, autochthonous red wine.

While the new season is leaving its first traces across the country, the inns on the South Tyrolean Wine Road have already done their spring-cleaning. Everything must be ready for the Culinary Spring Weeks, which are scheduled from 24th March to 8th April 2023

The focus of this gourmet event is on spring dishes that will wake you up from hibernation with fine flavours and special aromas. They will be accompanied by traditional Vernatsch from the wineries in the area. 

This light, ruby red wine has played an important role in South Tyrolean viticulture for centuries. Thanks to pleasant raspberry and cherry notes, it is basically a versatile partner to many dishes. However, it goes particularly well with colourful spring specialities. 

Five restaurants in Eppan and 33 others along the South Tyrolean Wine Road between Nals and Salurn are participating in the Culinary Spring Weeks.
