The Music Weeks Merano – today known as südtirol festival merano . meran – have been launched in 1986 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the spa town. In this way, Meran get a new impetus as a city of music, too. From the very beginning, the festival has been committed to the highest artistic standards and has become a late summer highlight throughout Europe.
The spa town itself gives the festival a very special ambience. In addition, the city has perfectly fitting concert venues with its Kurhaus, the Kursaal and the Pavillon des Fleurs. This year, the world's best soloists and top-class orchestras from Europe will again come together there and in the surrounding area – from 16 August to 22 September 2026.
