Meet a true mountaineering legend, listen to his stories about nature, mountains and expeditions, and visit a special museum: All this is part of the two summit meetings in August at the top of Mt. Kronplatz.

On 16 and 25 August 2024, the cable cars Olang, Kronplatz 2000 and Ruis will start at 8:00 am to take the first groups up to the Kronplatz summit. There, the South Tyrolean extreme mountaineer Reinhold Messner will await the participants to tell them many exciting stories about his life in the mountains in about one and half hours – including a photo and question session.

Afterwards, you can visit the MMM Corones located directly on the summit plateau. It is one of the six Messner Mountain Museums that the mountaineer himself has opened in South Tyrol and Belluno on different mountain themes.

The summit meeting in German begins at 8:30 am, in Italian at 10:00 am. The cost for the participation in the summit meeting including the ascent and descent with the cable car as well as the museum admission is €36 per person for adults and €26 per person for kids. If the weather is fine, the event will take place outdoors next to the MMM Corones – if it rains, it will be moved into the neighbouring LUMEN Museum.
