You can explore South Tyrol's most beautiful spots even without a car: by train, bus and cable car!

A key benefit of the guest card is mobility within South Tyrol. With the Südtirol Guest Pass , you can use numerous public transport services within the südtirolmobil network.

The Guest Pass is valid for:

regional trains in South Tyrol and to Trient
regional buses, city and intercity buses
the cable cars of Ritten, Meransen, Kohlern, Mölten and Vöran
the Ritten tram and the Mendel Cable Car
the PostAuto Switzerland between Mals and Müstair

The South Tyrol Guest Pass is NOT valid for:

long-distance trains
regional trains on the Brenner-Innsbruck and Innichen-Lienz sections
the transport of bicycles and pets
night liners
seasonal shuttle services (e.g. Auronzo hut, Lake Prags, Plätzwiese etc.)

The Südtirol Guest Pass includes free use of public transport and – depending on the holiday destination – other advantages and activities.
IDM Südtirol-Alto Adige/F-Tech

Depending on the region, individual mountain railways or cable cars may also be included. Some holiday regions offer their own versions of the Südtirol Guest Pass with extended services for hikers, families or active holidaymakers.

Museums & culture

In some regions, the Südtirol Guest Pass also includes museum services or discounted admission. Depending on the specific pass, this covers selected museums, exhibitions or cultural venues in South Tyrol. Regional combinations of transport and cultural offerings are particularly popular, as they make holidays easier without the need to buy additional tickets.

Availability & use

As a guest at a participating establishment, all persons aged 6 and over receive a digital Südtirol Guest Pass on arrival or during pre-check-in. The ticket is personalised and non-transferable, and is valid for the duration of the stay.

The Südtirol Guest Pass is not available for purchase. If your accommodation does not offer the Südtirol Guest Pass, you can use the Mobilcard instead.

Before each journey by bus, train or cable car, the ticket must be validated at a blue ticket validator on site.

Important information

Depending on your holiday destination, the Südtirol Guest Pass includes additional services and activities that you can enjoy free of charge or at a special price. As services and validity may vary by region, it is worth checking the information provided by your accommodation or the local tourist offices before booking.

Some previous regional guest cards have now been integrated into the Südtirol Guest Pass. The well-known MeranCard, for example, no longer exists in this form – it has been merged with the current Südtirol Guest Pass.
