STA – Südtiroler Transportstrukturen AG

With the Mobilcard, you can use the South Tyrol Transport Association's public transport system at low cost:

  • Regional and regional express trains in South Tyrol and to Trento
  • Regional, city and local buses, with the exception of some seasonal bus connections to excursion destinations
  • Cable cars to Ritten, Kohlern, Mölten and Vöran
  • The Ritten narrow-gauge railway and the funicular railway to Mendel Pass
  • The Swiss PostAuto between Mals and Müstair

The Mobilcard is not valid for long-distance trains such as EuroCity (EC), Railjet (RJ) or Frecce trains, nor for Nightliner buses.

Attention holidaymakers: Free Südtirol Guest Pass

Many accommodations in South Tyrol provide their guests with a free Südtirol Guest Pass during their stay. With this pass, holidaymakers can use all public transport free of charge, similar to the Mobilcard. The Guest Pass is issued digitally and is usually valid from the moment you check in.

Those who receive the Südtirol Guest Pass do not usually need an additional Mobilcard. Therefore, before your trip, check directly with your accommodation to see if the Guest Pass is included in your stay.

How long is the South Tyrol Mobilcard valid for?

The Mobilcard is available for various periods of 1, 3 or 7 consecutive days and offers unlimited travel on public transport throughout South Tyrol during this period. It is only valid once it has been validated for the first time. It is personal and non-transferable – each person needs their own ticket.

The Mobilcard Junior is valid for children and young people aged 6 to 13 inclusive. Children under the age of 6 travel free when accompanied by an adult.
