Nordic walking in Latsch-Martell

Discover this health-promoting exercise form in our fascinating Vinschgau mountain world.

Enjoy Nordic Walking, the walking with sticks and quick steps, the easy training for the whole body, power and fitness! Nordic Walking enables all age groups the entry into a smooth training connected right into nature.

On basis of the numerous positive effects and high burning of calories, Nordic Walking is an ideal outdoor training, not only for losing weight (90% of all muscles are activated, 40% more calories are burned than by walking or running at the same speed). Nordic Walking loosens muscle tension  in the shoulders and nape of the neck and increases suppleness in the neck-breast area. Besides these areas, arm muscles are also evenly trained and strengthened by the use of high-tech walking sticks. Thus neither muscles, joints nor the heart and circulatory system is in danger of being overtaxed.

Nordic walking tours in Latsch-Martell:

  • Path "Jägersteig": Below the ice rink entrance (wooden door) to the Mareinwaal, which crosses the big “keep-fit trail”. Turn right at the fork before the bridge, follow the path with the sign “Jägersteiger resp.
