WineCulturePath in Marling
The wonderful trail is all about wine and goes around the centre of Marling, along the idyllic vineyards as well as different wineries and distilleries of the village. Wine lovers, connoisseurs and active gourmets will feel like in paradise when discovering the trail.
The WineCulturePath is about 4 km long, is a circular trail and offers several info steles with informative texts about different grape varieties as well as of wine history and wine culture in Marling. As well, the visitors will see figures and representations of wine-growing items, such as the “Pazeide”, a historical wine and measuring vessel, on the village square.
Ideally, an excursion on the WineCulturePath starts on the church square in Marling. Then, the path goes to Hotel Oberwirt, to Meran Winery and back to the village centre of Marling.
In the wineries along the WineCulturePath, wine lovers can participate in tastings and guided tours on request, upon prior notice in the relative company.
