Hiking tour Lenkjöchl
A special hike is the one to the Lenkjöchl with starting point in the farthest Tauferer Ahrntal.
In the middle of the extraordinary Rieserferner Ahrn Nature Park, you quickly fall under the spell of the surrounding glaciated Venediger group, which appears truly majestic from the valley.

Destination of the tour
The hike begins in Kasern in the inner Ahrntal valley. Always following trail no. 11, you first pass the Knappenberg and descend to the Talbach stream and up to the panoramic alpine pastures of the Röttal valley: here you can constantly see the impressive Rötspitze peak. The route continues moderately uphill to the Lenkjöchlhütte, the destination of this hike.
The Lenkjöchlhütte is open all summer until the first weekend in October. Return to the starting point on trail no. 12, hiking through the inner Windtal valley out of the valley and down to the huts of the Labesau-Alm. You soon reach Heiliggeist and the pilgrimage church of the same name on a wide path and are soon back in Kasern.
