Joch hike with a short Geisler circuit and detour into the Villnöss Valley.

Col Raiser hut (2,107 m)

From St. Christina in Gröden, take the Col Raiser cable car to the Col Raiser hut (2,107 m). Take the track in the direction of the Panascharte, follow trail no. 1 to the Trojer Schwaige, continue on trail no. 2B, then trail no. 6 to the Panascharte (1 hour).

From there, descend steeply to trail no. 6, which comes from the Brogleshütte. Then descend to the right to Weißenbrunn at the foot of the Geißler on the Villnöss side. From here, turn left towards Mittagscharte into the depression between Sass Rigais and Gran Odla. In hairpin bends over scree steeply up to the saddle (21/2 hours from Panascharte). Here is the entrance to Sass Rigais.

On the Gröden side, descend again in steep hairpin bends to Plan Ciautier and on path 13 to the Regensburger Hut (3/4 hour). From there it is only a quarter of an hour to the starting point of the Col Raiser cable car.
