Hiking tour Tschafon

Hike from Lajen to the Tschafon.

The Tschafon is a popular panoramic mountain in the Rosengarten area and is an ideal excursion destination, especially for families.

Tschafon

The hike begins in Tiers. From Lajen you can reach the village by car or bus. Hikers park at the Weißlahnbad and follow the level road marked 4a to the last houses and then hike on a forest path to Wunleger and then on path 4 to the Tschafon hut, a good and very pleasant place to stop for refreshments.

We now continue on a signposted footpath through rocky forest terrain to the Tschafon (also called Völseggerspitze). The way back is the same as the ascent.
