A real knight’s castle is much more interesting for kids. Heavy armours, swords and spears are interesting, the historical walls make them feel like being in the Middle Ages and child-friendly guided tours allow them learn more about knights and princesses than adult.
How about, for instance, visiting Ötzi, the world-famous man from the ice? An afternoon in the labyrinth garden or in the train world? A trip to lamas and birds of prey – or an excursion to the legendary world of dwarfs and fairies?
In short: It does not matter how old the kids are and what kind of interests they have, South Tyrol offers suitable alternatives in all cases. Kids or adults, culture fans or not – anybody will get bored. The selection of excursion destinations is so big that there is always something that all family members like: From museums and castles to animal attractions delighting children.
