You should see the unique winter in Sterzing on your own, because it is hard to describe the special ambience in the medieval alleys and Christmassy decorated streets. In the centre of the Sterzing’s old town you will find many market stalls full of original and pleasant Christmas gifts.
Of course the Christmas market in Sterzing is accompanied by musical entertainment and culinary delicacies. The program includes games and handicraft works for kids, opening of the Advent window, the procession with St Nicholas and devils as well as Advent concerts by different choirs and bands.
