Chestnut Weeks in Eisacktal

The autumn in South Tyrol means primarily that it’s time for chestnuts! Especially in Eisacktal this is the occasion to offer special gastronomic weeks and traditional harvest evenings in the farm bars. A gastronomic highlight: the Chestnut Weeks!
Chestnuts can be used and prepared in many ways. This is attested not least by the Chestnut Weeks in Eisacktal taking place from 18 October to 2 November 2025.
This event is an initiative of the regional tourist association. In the participating restaurants there were offered very special chestnut dishes, starters as well as main dishes and dessert – for instance chestnut soup, chestnut cakes or pasta made of chestnut flour.
