The Altmauerfest in Auer transforms the historic town centre every two years into a lively festival area featuring South Tyrolean specialities, regional wines and a varied programme of entertainment.
From 20 to 22 May 2027, visitors from near and far will gather within the village’s ancient walls to celebrate together. Numerous local clubs will be serving culinary delights at their stalls, whilst live bands and DJs will create a lively atmosphere.
The three-day festival begins with the Opening Night and the traditional tapping of the barrel. On Friday, the parade, featuring the ‘Aperitivo Lungo’, winds its way through the streets of Auer. Saturday is all about families: a Fun & Play Area and a raffle round off the varied festival programme.
