Discovering handicraft and traditions in Villnöss – the farmer’s festival in Teis aims at displaying ancient traditions as well as typical specialities from the region.

Villnöss in Eisacktal is, without any doubt, one of the most natural valleys in South Tyrol. The traditional farmer’s festival takes you on a discovery journey through handicraft and farmer’s traditions.

Visiting various stands, children and adults can observe or relearn ancient customs. In addition to baking bread and weaving baskets and hats, you can also do pottery, realize felt works, or woodcarvings. The sheep shearing is one of the most beautiful attractions for children.

As well, you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables on the farmer’s market or taste lovingly prepared delicacies from the region. Various music groups offer the finest musical entertainment.

This year, the farmer’s festival will take place on Sunday, 20 October 2024. The beginning is at 10 am at the village square. The event also takes place in case of bad weather.
