Exhibition National Geographic
Steep rugged rocks, rolling pastures, glittering mountain lakes… The Dolomites are a unique world, full of excitement, opposites and surprises.
Because of their unique and monumental beauty the range is considered as UNESCO World Natural Heritage since 2009. The photographer Georg Tappeiner sought the most beautiful sides, the most mystical places and the most impressing panoramas of the Dolomites.
Now 50 of these photos of the "stony heart of the world" are presented in an exhibition in the Cusanus Akademie Brixen, organized by the magazine National Geographic Deutschland in cooperation with International Mountain Summit (IMS).
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday, 29th July at 7 pm. Then you can visit it from 30th July to 17th August 2011, every day from 10 am to 6 pm.
PS: From 21st to 30th October the International Mountain Summit takes place in Brixen, bringing together famous alpinists, budding climbers and mountain friends from all over the world!
