Ski World Cup Alta Badia
Region: Alta Badia
The notorious Gran Risa run in La Villa in Alta Badia has been the venue of alpine ski world cups for many years.
But the races arn’t the only point on the programme. While the venturous ski racers are going about the Gran Risa slope with a length of 1,255 metres, 448 metres of difference in altitude and a maximum gradient of 53%, down into the valley it’s time for party, fun and a thrilling ski world cup supporting programme.
Therefore, for a short time La Villa is no longer a placid and idyllic mountain village in the Dolomites, but an exciting festival centre for ski fans from all over the world. In 2017, there take place a Men's Giant Slalom (17 December) and a Men's Slalom (18 December).
Tip: Also in the neighbouring valley Gröden there takes place an annual ski world cup in December.
