Bike shuttles in South Tyrol
The selection of bike shuttles in the holiday regions of Vinschgau and Pustertal is very vast. However, Alta Badia, Gröden, Eisacktal and Kaltern have several bike shuttles. A few taxi services offer trips beyond their region and South Tyrol too, such as an Alpine crossing.
Some bike shuttles also offer guided bike tours or a bike rental, others have specialised Alpine cross variants (return and baggage transport via Brenner or Reschen pass route). Moreover, many BikeHotels Südtirol and several other hotels offer shuttle services for their guests.
Bike shuttles in Vinschgau & in the surroundings of Meran
In summer in Vinschgau, there are shuttles by Südtirolbike (email@example.com, +39 331 950 4005) on several lines with fixed timetables and determined stops to starting points of famous tours, such as Lake Reschen, Stilfser Joch and Holly Hansen Trail and back. These shuttles operate in case of a minimum number of persons or if a minimum price is paid. We recommend online bookings.
Furthermore, you can book individual shuttle trips at Südtirolbike (Mals) and other providers, such as Freeride Vinschgau (Goldrain/Latsch), Vinschgau Shuttle (Kastelbell-Tschars), Naturns Shuttle (Naturns), Bus Brenner (St. Valentin auf der Haide), Mobilcar (Schlanders) or Bikeshuttle-Team (Glurns). The local tourist offices provide the contacts to other providers.
In Naturns, there is a bike shuttle service on several days too in summer. Registration can be made in the local tourist office or in your holiday accommodation. Taxi Lampe offers shuttle trips in Passeiertal.
Between Lana and Gampen pass, there is a bike shuttle from May to October, daily from Monday to Saturday. With the GuestCard of Lana and Tisens-Prissian holiday region, guests can use them for free. Otherwise, tickets are available in the tourist office in Lana.
