Markets in South Tyrol
There you can see how multi-cultural South Tyrol is: one speaks German, the other one Italian, the kids eat chips and the mums buy traditional farmer’s cheese. South Tyrol combines the advantages of the German and Italian culture and nowhere else as at the market you can see this mix better.
Throughout the region you will find smaller, weekly markets and farmers' markets. The bigger ones normally take place once a year on important dates.

- Monday: Bozen (Don Bosco Square), Kurtinig, St. Pauls/Eppan (from April to October), Terlan, Kastelbell-Tschars and Brixen
- Tuesday: Bozen (Haslach), St. Michael/Eppan (from April to December), Neumarkt, Meran, Prad am Stilfserjoch, Sarnthein (in July and August), St. Jakob/Leifers, Welsberg-Taisten (from July to September) and Sterzing (from April to October)
- Wednesday: Bozen (Firmian), Auer, Kaltern (from March to October), Salurn, Klobenstein, Mals, Meran/Sinich, Deutschnofen, Völs am Schlern, St. Christina and Bruneck
- Thursday: Bozen (Rovigostraße/Matteotti Square), Girlan/Eppan (from April to October), Branzoll, Leifers, Schlanders, Kastelruth and Seis, Wolkenstein and Mühlbach (from March to October)
- Friday: Meran, Lana, Latsch, Margreid, Neumarkt, St. Ulrich and Olang
- Saturday: Bozen (Siegesplatz square), Laag/Neumarkt, Mölten and Naturns

Traditional markets
- Fruit market in Bozen, daily except on Sundays
- “Josefimarkt” in Salurn on 19th March or the following Sunday
- Spring market in Bozen at the end of March
- Flower market in Bozen at the end of April/beginning of May
- “Markus Markt” in Auer at Saint Markus‘ Day (25th April)
- Craft and farmer's market "Heugabel" in Innichen (beginning/middle of September)
- “Michaeli Markt” in Martell at Saint Michael’s Day (29th September)
- Bread and strudel market Brixen at the first weekend in October
- “Stegener Markt” in Bruneck from 26th to 28th October
- “Sealamorkt” in Glurns on All Soul’s Day (2nd November)
- “St. Martin's market” in Girlan at Saint Martin’s Day (11th November)
- “Kathreine Marktl” in Mühlen in Taufers at the end of November
- Christmas markets in December in many villages and cities
