Route description
The hike begins in Welschnofen. The chairlift takes you to the Paolina Hut and from there on trail no. 539 and 549 to the Rotwand Hut. Here hikers take trail no. 541 and hike over the Cigolade Pass and trail no. 550 to the Tschagerjoch and the beautifully situated Rosengartenhütte (also called Kölnerhütte). From here, after a well-deserved break, you return to the starting point via trail no. 549 and trail no. 552.

Trains stop at the railway station in Bozen, bus connection from Bozen to Welschnofen.
