Golf clubs in South Tyrol
The Golf club Alta Badia, the Golf club Petersberg and the Golf club Carezza are situated at an altitude of going far beyond 1,000 m, with impressive views over the Dolomites – UNESCO World Natural Heritage. The Golf club Pustertal, the Golf club Passeier.Meran as well as the Golf club St. Vigil Seis are located not as high. However, they offer unique panoramas and sports challenges in hilly areas. Southern South Tyrol has to flat courses and water obstacles at Golf club Lana and Golf club Eppan, offering a long season from February until December thanks to the mild climate.
In addition to the eight courses with 9 or 18 holes, there are a few smaller facilities such as the 4-hole course at Golf club Quellenhof or the training centre at Golf club Freudenstein. If you still search more variety, you should take a trip to Golf club Dolomiti in the neighbouring province of Trentino.
Wonderful greens & culinary delicacies
As different as the golf courses may be in terms of landscapes and tracks, all golf clubs in South Tyrol have something in common: the perfectly maintained green and the high-quality culinary offer in the restaurants inside the club houses. Only the Golf club Alta Badia has no own restaurant on the club’s terrain. However, there are many award-winning restaurants in the close environs.
Wherever you go, you will encounter a blend of southern “dolce vita” and real golfing pleasure. Further information about golf, golf clubs and golf hotels in South Tyrol and in Italy can be found under www.golfpustertal.com.
