South Tyrolean Potato Run

The 17.6 km race from Bruneck to Sand in Taufers is reserved for athletes with a valid participation card. The run starts at 5 pm at the town hall square in Bruneck and continues to Kapuzinerplatz and to Kolpinghaus. After the street of Dietenheimerstrasse the route leads to Aufhofen, you continue along the cycle path of the Ahr river through the villages, Gais, Uttenheim and Kematen to the Bad Winkel hotel. At the Cascade swimming pool, you cross the Ahr and continue along Daimerstrasse to the finish line at the fairground in Sand in Taufers.

Even without compulsory documents, hobby runners can take part in the new hobby run just4fun and the 2×8.8 km relay run with transition zone in Uttenheim. A maximum of 800 participants can take part in the run.

MINI RUN

Children can take part in the competition too and register from 1.30 pm at the finish area of the main run at Tubrisplatz in Sand in Taufers. The registration fee is €10.00 and includes: a voucher for chips, a medal or cup, a start number with integrated timing chip and finish food. The maximum number of participants is 300. The start will be at 3 pm in the finish area of the main run. There are different routes for the different age groups.
