After the start at the Speikboden mountain station, a ski instructor accompanies you over varied slopes from hut to hut. At the single stops, exquisite cheese specialities from the South Tyrolean dairy cooperatives and artisan raw milk products are waiting for you: from mild soft cheese and hearty mountain cheese to traditional grey cheese.
Under the expert guidance of a qualified cheese sommelier, you can taste the different varieties and choose your personal favourite. Stories about cheese production, farms and alpine pastures of the Ahrntal round off the delightful afternoon.
Ski & Cheese takes place from 10th January to 13th March 2024, every Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Registration is possible online until 4:00 pm the day before. The price for participation is €29.00 for adults and €19.00 for children under the age of 16.
The meeting point is the ski school office right at the exit of the Speikboden cable car. The tasting tour is only recommended for experienced skiers.
