Colourful stands, local delicacies, fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade cheese and self-baked bread… you will find all this on the farmers’ market in Bruneck.

Each Friday from May until October, there is a farmers’ market with healthy delicacies produced by farms in the environs in the city centre of Bruneck in Pustertal. You will find for sale: fresh fruit and vegetables as well as cheese, bread, as well as typical specialties from Pustertal.

Bio is not always what it should be. Despite quality labels and seals, it is frequently not transparent in supermarkets, where the vegetables and fruit come from.

On the farmers’ market, however, the farmers themselves guarantee for the quality of their products and the consumer can be sure that his breakfast eggs come from free-range hens and the milk from cows. In Bruneck, the local farmers offer their products for sale during the long summer season. In fact, they offer particularly those products growing on the fields near the city during the respective season.

On the farmers’ market in Bruneck, visitors can buy salads, zucchini, tomatoes and broccoli in summer as well as apples, potatoes and beets in autumn. Moreover, you will also find homemade jams, fruit syrups and honey at the stands, as well as delicious cheeses and farmers’ butter… In short: Everything that tastes good and that is healthy. What more could you want?
