Exact details on dates, times and programmes can be obtained directly from the organiser.The AUGUSTOUR is a special event for all fans of cycling and takes place from 20 to 22 May 2022. The purpose of this three-day bicycle tour from Reschen to Trento is to experience the perfect harmony of culture, cycling and culinary delights and to enjoy the wonderful landscape along the ancient Roman's road.
The participants of the AUGUSTOUR will do all in all about 200 kilometres in 3 stages through South Tyrol and Trentino. This section of the ancient Via Claudia Augusta goes slightly downhill. Therefore the tour is easy and suitable for all fans of cycling – no matter if you start with a trekking, mountain, racing or e-bike. In the selected rest points, you can enjoy typical culinary delights of the region.
In 2014, the event about stress-free cycling was organized for the first time, on the occasion of the 2,000th anniversary of Emperor Augustus’ death. You can participate as single, as family, as association or as company team, and you can choose to do the whole tour or just separate stages.
Stages AUGUSTOUR 2022:
- 1st stage (20 May): Graun/Reschen - Meran (82 km)
- 2nd stage (21 May): Meran - Lake Kaltern - Bozen (62 km)
- 3rd stage (22 May): Bozen - Trient (64 km)
