In St. Christina in Gröden, from 2nd July to 3rd September, every Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm will be held a Craft Market, where artisans can showcase and sell their traditional skills and art.
The market will be held in the pedestrian area of St Christina, during the event you can also see with own eyes the craftsmen at work. Gröden is famous worldwide for its wood carving.
In addition to wood carving also many other items such as paintings, decorative objects on hay, iron, wallets and belts embroidered. For the ladies, and also to bring home something characteristic: pillows, blankets, pure wool rugs, slippers, candles and beeswax.
Obviously they could be lacking food and wine: honey, vinegar and apple juice of the Maso Bühler, Grappa and distillates from Maso Fischer, South Tyrolean bacon ,the cheese of Maso Brunner, wine, fruit and vegetable and still jams, syrups and medicinal herbs.
