Spring starts here earlier than in other parts of South Tyrol, and residents and guests who spend their holidays here can enjoy the warm sun rays very soon.
This year together with farmers of the Naturns Sonnenberg the new spring season will be opened on 7 April 2024 in a special place: the mountain trail of Meran. On this day the Unterstell cable car can be used free of charge and local farmers talk about their daily routine, their life as mountain farmers and their traditions.
But there is more to look forward to: after a sun-drenched walk, you can enjoy farm specialities and traditional dishes of the region served by the Sonnenberg mountain inns and farm taverns.
