Welcome to Mountain Lodge Ciurnadù in Wengen

Our family-run Mountain Lodge Ciurnadù is located in a magnificent sunny position in Wengen. Here in Alta Badia, you can enjoy relaxing holidays in the middle of the Dolomites – UNESCO World Natural Heritage: At 1,500 m, you will experience a unique mountain world, breath fresh air and recharge your energies. We live with and from nature: In our eco hotel, we give high importance to sustainable and eco-friendly energy supply by using solar energy and wood. As well, the design with natural materials guarantees a special well-being ambiance.

Cosy rooms & culinary delights

Our guests are offered three types of rooms for 2-4 persons, which are equipped with any comfort and a lot of charm. They are furnished with natural massive wood and are spacious and light-flooded. Ecological and traditional, they dispose of a balcony with breath-taking view to Mt. Peitlerkofel or Mt. Heiligkreuzkofel, as well as shower/WC, hairdryer, free WLAN and satellite TV. The spa oasis of our hotel is entirely new: Enjoy relaxing moments in the Finnish sauna, in the bio sauna or in the Jacuzzi on the sunbathing lawn. In our romantic "Stube" or in the light-flooded panoramic dining room, we pamper you with hearty South Tyrolean hospitality and Ladin specialities. Our traditional wood-fired oven is in use not only for baking the bread for the breakfast buffet, but for special dishes at the 4-course dinner too. Many ingredients come from our garden and from our farm. Our small guests will love the ponies, donkey, rabbits and cats living on our farm. In the garden, on the sun terrace and on the playground, kids and adults will find their favourite place.

Activities for everyone, all year round

In the environs of our Mountain Lodge Ciurnadù in Wengen, you will find countless outdoor activities. In summer, you can discover the unique landscape of Fanes-Sennes-Prags nature park during extensive hikes and bike tours. The Movimënt parks offer adrenaline for the entire family. In winter, sledging, skiing at Alta Badia skiing area and numerous cross-country ski runs await you. Perfect for active guests: We offer a ski depot with boot dryer, a bike depot and a drying room for bike and hiking equipment. Also, we offer rucksacks, hiking sticks, snowshoes and sleighs for rental.

I wish we could give 100 Stars. The staff was so extremely helpful to me and my wife on our 4 Night stay. From helping with getting to the hotels location, to trail recommendations and maps nearby, five course meals were included every night for dinner. A very clean and enjoyable sauna and jacuzzi included as well. An amazing unforgettable experience. Could not recommend more. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Ciurnadú!!!

When we first came here, we thought: This must be the gateway to paradise!
There it was, the Ciurnadù Mountain Lodge, nestled in a stunningly beautiful landscape at an altitude of approximately 1,400 meters, from where you can set off hiking directly. The Kreuzkofel (Santa Croce) is within easy reach, and the Odle Group opposite invites you to take on challenging hikes with a magnificent panorama.
You can also quickly reach places steeped in history, such as the Lagazuoi, which played a key role during World War I.
The Pordoi Pass, the Passo di Würz, the Valle di Mühlental (Mill Valley), the Plan de Corones, and much more, invite you to explore and marvel at the sights.
The hosts and staff at the Ciurnadù are very polite and attentive.
Breakfast and dinner are always plentiful, and special requests are also catered for.
If you don't want to wake up in a high-rise hotel, this is exactly the right place for a fantastic holiday, surrounded by unique nature and with very friendly hosts.

This is our second time back at this hotel in the last six months. What can I say? It's absolutely perfect for us. There's nothing we didn't like. We can't praise the enchanting location, the panoramic spa, the impeccable cleanliness, the excellent cuisine, and the excellent service. But I think the real strength of Ciurnadu' is the family who runs it with commitment and passion. It's a place with a vibrant soul. You truly feel at home here.

We ended up at this hotel because many places on our hiking route were fully booked. I'm glad it turned out this way because this hotel was such a nice experience, even for one day.

Since we ended up here by chance and thus had not researched properly beforehand, my girlfriend and I were shocked to discover that everything; spa, breakfast and dinner, was included in the price. You definitely get value for your money!

Moreover, the food was excellent and luxurious. The staff made sure we had enough by refilling our plates with our own choices of dishes from the different courses.

Good value, friendly service and excellent food. You couldn't ask for more!

A fantastically located, family-run hotel, with great breakfast and dinner, friendly staff, and a lovely spa with a sauna and whirlpool overlooking the mountains. :) We were there with a large group and would go back anytime! Great!

Returning for the second time after two years, we found it even better than our first experience. Everything was impeccable, but above all, it was the courtesy and attention to the customer that made the difference. I should point out that my wife's celiac disease was treated with incredible care, something I've never experienced in other hotels or restaurants.
