For four consecutive evenings, the charming Kellereistraße is transformed into a lively open-air food, wine and music festival, right at the heart of the local wine-growing culture.

From Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 August 2026, Kaltern will be decked out in festive style for one of the summer’s most popular events: the traditional Wine Festival organised by the Kaltern Brass Band.

Wine is the central theme of the event and the undisputed star of the evenings, during which the region’s long winemaking tradition is celebrated. The event is organised by the historic Bürgerkapelle Kaltern brass band, which has been bringing the event to life for decades with a rich musical programme and an authentic, festive atmosphere.

Along the street, you can sample traditional specialities such as Strauben, meat dishes and pasta, accompanied, of course, by local wines from Kaltern. Live music provides the backdrop to every evening, creating a convivial and engaging atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. There is also a play area for younger guests.
