MTB tour Via Claudia Augusta
Cycle along the River Adige on the Via Claudia Augusta through Salurn.
The Via Claudia Augusta leads bikers through the south of Southern Tyrol and through Salurn.
Starting point of the tour
Destination of the tour
Before the Via Claudia Augusta leads into Trentino, the ancient route runs along the Adige river and through rich orchards to Salurn in the south of South Tyrol, a picturesque wine village with a multicultural flair. Culture-conscious bikers stop here and visit the Haderburg castle before continuing southwards in Trentino.
The Via Claudia Augusta also leads cyclists along the Adige in Trentino. We particularly recommend a stop in Trento and a visit to the historic city centre, which is well worth seeing. You can either return along the same route or by train.
