Hotel Digon**** is located in the picturesque village St. Ulrich in Gröden Valley, in the middle of the unique natural landscape of the Dolomites. Our house is managed by our family since 40 years and was recently renovated with love. The good location at the foot of the Sella Massif – part of the UNESCO world nature heritage – makes our hotel a perfect accommodation for unforgettable holidays in the South Tyrolean Dolomites in winter or summer.

Delightful & relaxing Moments

Our 21 cosy rooms and suites are furnished in typical South Tyrolean style and offer every comfort for a pleasant stay with the entire family. We will pamper you with our rich breakfast buffet every morning. For this we use only fresh, regional and seasonal products. Seasonal products from the region are also important for our 4-course dinner with traditional South Tyrolean specialities, Mediterranean delicacies and international dishes. Our guests can relax wonderfully on the sunbathing lawn, in the year-round heated infinity pool and whirlpool with a dream view, in the sauna and in the Turkish bath.

Mountain Adventures in the Dolomites

The inviting hotel is located nearby the centre of St. Ulrich with numerous shops and bars. The surroundings invite to dreamlike hikes, climbing tours or bike tours in summer. Daniel from the host family is a bike guide himself, and our Hotel Digon offers guided mountain bike tours and many services for a successful bike holiday. In winter, you can go snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, sledging or ice skating. The well prepared slopes of the nearby skiing area and the popular Sellaronda are waiting for you.

We didn't have time to stay longer, but it will remain one of the most pleasant memories of our vacation! Beautiful hotel with just the right amount of elegance, very kind people, very comfortable rooms, and an excellent breakfast. We live far away, so it's not easy to get to Brazil, but we'll be back one day.

Had an enjoyable 3 nights stay in a single room which was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel provides a transportation card for bus travels to town - a very nice touch! There is a bus stop located right outside the hotel which is a bonus. Breakfast is a good spread! The only down feedback to give is for the elderly lady at the breakfast area - please respect the way others would like to consume their apple. For 2 days straight - she insisted that I placed the stem/stalk of the apples into the juicer. After politely declining, she walked away and uttered some words under her breath. Very disrespectful. However, the young lady at the breakfast area (did not get her name) was very friendly and attentive.

What a fantastic hotel! We stayed here for three nights and had a blast. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. We got a beautiful front room overlooking the mountains. The food is delicious and everything is very thoughtful. Shoutout to the amazing staff who gave us hiking recommendations every day the we’re so friendly. The hotel is an easy bus into town. We drove to the Dolomites but ended up busing to save money on parking. We will be back to Hotel Digon!

We stayed 3 nights with half-board. Very good stay, helpful, smiling and friendly staff. Comfortable and well-soundproofed room. Heated and very pleasant swimming pool. Breakfast and evening meal very good.

After four years, I stayed at the Digon for seven days for the second time. Exceptionally friendly staff, a generous breakfast buffet, and a top-quality five-course dinner. The pool and sauna are perfect for relaxing after long hikes.

Cannot say enough good things about Hotel Digon. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. They had great recommendations, offered top notch service, and went above and beyond when my wife wasn't feeling well one night. We certainly would stay there again if we are ever back in the area.

I don't usually write reviews but our stay at Hotel Digon warrants one. The staff is wonderful - so friendly, informative, helpful. We relied on the staff's recommendations for all of our activities and every vendor, hike, plan, etc. that they recommended were wonderful. The amenities are great - we loved the sauna and pool. The bartender comes down to the pool to take drink orders and deliver them during happy hour. The breakfast spread is great. After a week of eating straight carbs in other parts of Italy, we loved the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as scrambled eggs. They have a juicer and raw veggies and we enjoyed carrot + ginger juice every morning. We got to know the family that owns and runs the hotel and they are great people. Highly recommend.
