Naturhotel Runa

The Nature Hotel Runa on the Alp of Rodeneck-Lüsen in Eisacktal is embedded in lush meadows and green woods. Here, at 1,832 m of altitude, you are offered a dreamlike retreat for romantics, nature lovers, active guests and gourmets. The family-run mountain hotel offers cosy and spacious rooms and suites with lots of wood from the family's own mountain forests and alpine charm. The equipment includes flat screen TV, telephone, a bathroom with spacious shower, toilet/bidet, hairdryer, underfloor heating and towel warmer. Most of the rooms have a separate balcony; in the suites there is a whirlpool too. A wellness bag with bathrobe, slippers and sauna towels is at your disposal. 

The host and chef Alex reates delicious specialities from regional products, served in our cosy dining rooms – from the rich breakfast buffet in the morning to the 3-course menu of choice with salad buffet at dinner.  Exclusive alpine wellness: Relax in or Finnish sauna or in the herbal sauna, in the panoramic relaxation room, in the idyllic garden or during well-being massages. Kids will look forward to the adventure playground at the hotel and to dreamlike adventures in the snow in winter. We also have a charging station for e-bikes and a ski and bike depot. With its chapel and its conference room, our hotel is also perfect for weddings, celebrations and meetings. 

Thanks to the unique position of the Nature Hotel Runa in Rodeneck, it is a paradise for active guests. Enjoy the panoramic view, hikes and bike tours on the Alp of Rodeneck-Lüsen. In winter, there is a cross-country ski run right in front of the house. Snowshoes and sledges are available for rental. Our tip: sunrise excursion to Mt. Astjoch with summit breakfast. With the Almencard guest card, you can use the bus from Mühlbach to the Alp and all regional public transport throughout South Tyrol and you have free entrance to over 80 museums.
