The Jägerhof welcomes you to the picturesque village of Walten near St. Leonhard in Passeiertal, nestled between forests and alpine meadows at an altitude of around 1,300 metres. Our family-run hotel combines authentic South Tyrolean hospitality, a traditional atmosphere and relaxation close to nature: ideal for anyone seeking peace, enjoyment and activity in the mountains.

Our cosily furnished rooms and studios are equipped with natural wood furniture and anti-allergenic materials – many with south-facing balconies and magnificent panoramic views of the valley and mountains. Start your day with a hearty breakfast, and enjoy regional specialities and homemade products for dinner. Afterwards, our wellness area with saunas, steam bath, whirlpool, relaxation rooms and outdoor areas invites you to relax so that you can recharge your batteries after active experiences.

Hiking and walking trails through the impressive mountain landscape of the Passeiertal Valley start right outside the hotel, ranging from easy tours to alpine summit experiences. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, ski touring or skiing in the Ratschings-Jaufen ski area: this means adventure and enjoyment of nature in every season. Meran and Sterzing are around 30 km away and offer cultural and urban highlights for varied excursions.
