The family-run Berghotel Sexten combines 4-star superior comfort with Alpine charm. The 82 rooms and suites are comfortably furnished with natural materials such as wood and stone, and they have a balcony or terrace. All rooms and studios are equipped with (at least 1) double bed, setting area, LCD TV, telephone, fridge, safe, free WLAN and backpack as well as a bathroom with shower, bidet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, scales and high-quality regional care products. Depending on the accommodation type, the amenities also include a sofa bed, kitchenette, separate sleeping area, bathtub or sauna. As a member of the Vitalpina Hotels Südtirol, the Berghotel Sexten guarantees an extensive programme of activity and relaxation. Among other things, this includes guided hikes or snowshoe tours and a spacious wellness world. Indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools and saunas invite you to relax. The “Zirm SPA & Badl” offers soothing massages, beauty treatments and baths for your well-being. The mountain landscape around the Berghotel Sexten is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. You can start beautiful hikes and bike tours directly from the hotel. The Dolomite peaks in Sexten are also particularly popular for their spectacular climbing routes. Also winter fun starts right in front of the hotel door: There are waiting the slopes of the skiing area “3 Zinnen Dolomites” as well as cross-country skiing and winter hiking trails. Ski tourers and snowshoe hikers will also get their money’s worth.

We stayed here in October with our son, and the hotel is beautifully situated. The service and food were excellent. We will definitely come back in the future. The location is perfect for hiking, as there are many trails and mountain lifts nearby.

We (2 adults, 2 children) spent a week in a Swiss pine chalet at the mountain hotel. The room was fantastic, with a beautiful view and plenty of space. The hotel is ideally located for hiking and offers stunning views of the Fischlein Valley and the Dolomites. The spa and pool are also very nicely designed. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was plentiful, regional, and always of the highest quality. It was a wonderful stay, and we would love to come back.

A truly pleasant stay! The hotel is large but meticulously maintained, with welcoming spaces and a beautiful, comprehensive spa: in addition to the panoramic sauna, where two sauna events are held daily, there are two other saunas, a Turkish bath, and a splendid indoor pool connected to the outdoor pool. Outside, there's also a 24-hour outdoor pine sauna, truly charming and relaxing. We also had a massage: the woman was very competent and professional. The food is excellent, with great attention to gluten-free options and allergens. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, both sweet and savory, and I was always able to choose the dishes I wanted from the menu, which were specially prepared in gluten-free versions. The dishes were carefully prepared, unique, and tasty. Even the gluten-free bread, available in both white and brown, was excellent. During afternoon tea, there were always plenty of sweets and at least two slices of gluten-free cake, a truly thoughtful touch. We had booked a tour that had to be changed due to overnight snowfall, but the staff managed to replace it with another equally beautiful outing. Kudos also to the guide, who was very knowledgeable and passionate about explaining the history and interesting facts of the area. All the staff were always very friendly, attentive, and helpful, helping to make our stay even more enjoyable. A perfect stay in every way: relaxation, nature, excellent food, and genuine attention to the guest's well-being.

We booked the hiking package at the mountain hotel at short notice. The hotel is perfectly located for hiking, and the mountain lifts are easily accessible. Unfortunately, most of the mountain huts were already closed at the end of October. The view of the Dolomites around Sexten is simply magnificent! The friendliness of the service staff and the excellent food deserve special mention. Both breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. The hotel is well-suited for families and is frequently used by them. Those seeking peace and quiet should keep this in mind. Our only minor suggestion for improvement: The temperature in the relaxation rooms of the spa could be a bit warmer. We will definitely be back in winter. The slopes right outside look very inviting :-)

A truly wonderful stay! We felt very welcome and taken care of. It's a very family-friendly hotel. The wellness area is beautiful and very uniquely (positively) decorated. Both breakfast and dinner were truly excellent. The quality of the food and the products used were noticeable. Furthermore, the hotel is otherwise very climate-neutral, which may please some. In our opinion, the nude sauna area was a bit too open and too close to the terraces. Compared to other hotels, there were quite a few children, which is great for families but still something to consider for a couple. The hotel has an excellent location and is filled with love and charm. We would highly recommend the hotel, especially for families with children.
